The Genre we have chosen for our media opening sequence is a Dance drama. We have chosen this because it appears to reach our target audience most efficiently, which we discovered after conducting our film survey amongst our peers, but, also of different age groups. We found that our audience preferred to get away from the stereotypical American feel good film, that seems so readily available and wanted to go for the more realistic, British, gritty film. To offer a different alternative to what we have previously seen and analysed in our textual analysis that are included in our blog.
